Youth club at Goldings has been a great success - our current members are all part of the church and enjoy a variety of activities together. This year we have seen two people from our youth club be baptised and very soon three more members are also going to be baptised.
We praise God for the work that he is doing in this club and for the members of staff who give freely of their time on a Saturday evening so that our teens can meet. Initially we met once a month, but due to the constant cries of 'when's the next youth club?' - we have decided to increase this to twice a month!
As we are all members of Goldings we enjoy various other church based activities together, such as our away day to Lambourne End earlier this year and a trip to see a theatre production. Our teens have also been involved in attending our men's and women's conferences. They are also actively involved in the life of the church, leading worship, serving as part of the Heavenly Hands choir, running the Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal, cleaning out the baptism pool after use and generally getting involved wherever they can. At Goldings we are blessed to have an excellent group of teenagers who are fun to be with and offer great encouragement and hope for the future!
