Ernest was born in Pakistan and has a deep love and concern for his homeland. Ernest has been involved in humanitarian relief efforts in Pakistan and has set up a number of different ministries to help Christians in Pakistan who are frequently marginaliszed and cannot work or earn a living so easily. Children from Christian families are often given poor education and this is something that Ernest is very concerned to see improve.
One of Ernest's projects, and one which we at Goldings are now involved with too, is the setting up of a school - which Ernest prays will become a centre of educational excellence, eventually becoming a fee-paying school where children from Christian families can have free, or heavily subsidized places. Currently the school is partially built and classes are meeting on the premises.
Ernest has a team of volunteers in Pakistan involved with the flood relief programme. They are distributing water and other essentials to needy areas. Gospel outreach is also very much on Ernest's heart and he desires to see the truth of Jesus Christ reaching many people. Volunteers from Goldings have been travelling to Pakistan with Ernest to see the work and get involved with preaching and teaching in Pakistan. Other teams from Goldings are due to fly out with Ernest in the near future too.
