Deaf Ministry Worker
We are very happy to announce that at the end of 2010 the elders of Goldings Church and the church membership agreed to employ John as a Deaf Ministry Assistant.
At Goldings we believe God has given us a unique and special calling to reach out to deaf people and God is blessing the work wonderfully! We would quickly assure you that this is not because WE decided to work with deaf people but because God has gifted us and blessed us with some wonderful deaf people at Goldings.
John has been attending Goldings church faithfully for 10 years, growing, learning and developing as a Christian. He is loved and respected by all of us! John is deaf, he is married to Joanna who is also deaf. They met and married at Goldings and are a huge blessing to us. John has a passion for reaching out to deaf people so that they can know the power and truth of the bible.

Our church is growing rapidly and it is wonderful to have a dedicated deaf worker who can work amongst deaf people in different areas of Essex and London. John is able to support our Pastor and elders and is currently enrolled on a preacher's course alongside three other (hearing) men. John has been setting up bible study groups for deaf people and taking the word of God to a people group who are sadly so often neglected by churches and evanglelists due to the communication problems. However, God wants to reach out to ALL people, regardless of race, age, education, colour or language and therefore we are especially excited to have John working alongside us!
You can email John at Goldings Church: john@goldingschurch.co.uk
Romans 10:14
How can they call on him unless they believe in him? How can they believe in him unless they hear about him? How can they hear about him unless someone preaches to them? And how can anyone preach without being sent? It is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Isaiah 52:7).

BY THE WAY
Our deaf people meet every Sunday at 11.00am
Please feel free to join us, we have a good number of deaf people who meet at Goldings Church every Sunday. Deaf people take a full and active role in the church - you may even be welcomed at the door by one of our deaf doormen!
