I want to thank you all for ypur warm welcoming and support while I was in Loughton. Everytime I went to Goldings church my spirit was lifted up by prayers, worshipping and words of encouragement. Be a Light for the lost ones and a family for those who need a hug, a smile , in brief a christian family.
I am so blessed I met this church, may you all be blessed by our Lord abundantly!!!

I was in the Sunday School at Goldings Hill Free Church nearly 60 years ago! It was a very small church then. I lived at 45 Englands Lane Loughton. My parents, Ron and Connie Currey were very active in the church and I believe my grandfather Ernest Currey was superintendent there before I was born. I read about the church in the New Life Easter paper - it's really encouraging to find out all God is doing.

We really enjoyed the ladies ten pin bowling night. It was good to have 25 women there and to get to know each other better, having lots of chats and lots of laughter. Us three deaf ladies were able to mix with the hearing ladies and really enjoyed a chance to have an evening together. Well done to Pat she won the ladies bowling competition twice! I’m sure all of us ladies will be practicing to beat her time (ha ha). Nice that there are some pictures up in the church hall already – it was a really blessed night.

I meant to add that I'm an associate worker with the Open-Air Mission - do you work with them? Like you they have a passion for reaching the 'Christless multitudes' of this country.

Thank you so much for your visit to Felixstowe today. We were greatly blessed by Jimmy's testimony and Jerry's preaching - what wonderful messages. Please come again!
John & Norma Bale
(ex copper - Met and Suffolk, retired as a Chief Insp. but a physical, mental, psychological and spiritual wreck after 30 years of heavy drinking & chain smoking. I related to Jimmy's words - only God could have changed me - which he did many years later (in 2004). Like you, I tell the world - well Felixstowe! He saved me in 2004 at the age of 61 - there's hope for everybody.
With Christian love to you, your families and all at Golding's, Loughton and thanks again for God's amazing Word brought to us through you.

Janice and I would like to congratulate Pastor Jerry on 10 years of ministering at Goldings. We give God great praise for the 4 new elders who have come alongside Pastor to support, preach, stand firm on the truth of the Bible, and love the people of Goldings.

May we just share this verses with the elders:

"Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished. 1 Chronicles 28:20

“Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.” Corinthians 16:13, 14.

Praising God for the many blessings He has given us at Goldings.
